Clinical Supervision

I enjoy teaching and supervising emerging social work professionals as they develop confidence and clarity in their clinical work. I provide clinical supervision for MSW interns and Associate Clinical Social Workers (ASWs) working toward licensure in California. As a California BBS-certified clinical supervisor, I offer a supportive, educational, and ethically grounded environment that promotes professional growth, skill development, and clinical confidence.

Together we will build strong clinical reasoning, deepening understanding of trauma-informed care, preparing you for licensure exams, strengthening diagnostic assessment skills, and integrating evidence-based practices such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing. Additionally, I incorporate foundational developmental theories, including Erik Erikson’s psychosocial stages and Piaget’s cognitive development framework, to help supervisees deepen their understanding of client behavior across the lifespan.
